Activated charcoal is a supplement. It’s been used for centuries to relieve poisoning symptoms, to absorb anything and everything that may be causing stomach upset.
If you’ve started your paleo journey, you may have come across products that label themselves as “paleo” or “paleo friendly” when their list of ingredients doesn’t match up. Not everything labeled paleo is actually paleo, oddly enough. I really don’t know how some companies get away with it, and yet, they do.
You guys, I normally don’t write stuff like this, but I know this is the type of community that uses their services and I want to protect my readers.
Hey hey hey yesterday was the last day to enter my second giveaway (and first Instagram giveaway!)
Did you miss the GFAF Expo a couple weeks ago? Are you gluten-free, egg-free, or whatever and can’t find good snacks? Do you want to try some of the snacks I found at GFAF or are you interested in winning some free food?
As an official blogger for the GFAF Expo in Worcester, MA, I didn’t know what to expect but gluten-free madness. I met some interesting bloggers and others who need to make living allergen-friendly a priority in their lives (or else they nearly die from anaphylactic shock in Austria). Oh, and I have a new diagnosis.
If you thought this was a typical blog, you were wrong. I’ve been eating venison (wild deer meat) since I was a baby and I continue to believe that it is the best meat out there (wild, deer are overpopulated, you know all of that is organic and free of hormones/antibiotics). As a paleo dieter for about a year and taco lover since tacos first landed in my mouth, I needed a paleo taco recipe. I had been cheating with soft corn taco shells (and continue to when the need strikes), but one day I decided to change all of that and make my own tortillas.
